Over the past year, Water Street has expanded to include numerous dining, drinking, shopping and entertainment options for Las Vegas tourists and locals alike. Water Street is the perfect balance of historic and modern. Juan’s Flaming Fajitas and Cantina

Inspired by traditional Mexican dishes, Juan’s Flaming Fajitas and Cantina boasts a variety of dishes for guests to choose from, including Chile Rellenos, Carnitas, Enchiladas De Mole, as well as the restaurant’s signature Fajitas. Expanding and opening a new restaurant in the Aliante area, Juan’s Flaming Fajitas and Cantina is not a place to miss. 


Biscuits and Bourbon

A breakfast hotspot by day and a barbeque dinner spot by night, this popular restaurant is a top choice amongst all Water Street goers. A start-up restaurant, Biscuits and Bourbon has the goal to “revitalize Water St.” “Our vision is to restore the area to its former glory by creating quality establishments that would strengthen the community.” (https://www.bandbonwater.com/). Some of the signature dishes offered at Biscuits and Bourbon include Biscuits and Gravy, Fried Chicken and Waffle, Smoked Wings and Brisket on a Bun. Some of the signature cocktails offered include a Bourbon Bacon Bloody Mary, B&B Old Fashioned on Draft and a Six Shooter Manhattan. 


Firelight Barn and Dinner Theater

The Firelight Barn and Dinner Theater is the perfect activity for those looking to enjoy good food, as well as outstanding entertainment. The venue strives to “provide quality family entertainment AND make a positive IMPACT on lives.” (https://www.firelightbarn.com/about-us/). Venue goers can enjoy a delicious BBQ meal, followed by a show featuring Mama’s Wranglers, the Jackson Family Band and Cloggers. The venue often features guest artists that make appearances. Reservations are required so it is important to call ahead of time to reserve a spot. The dinner includes a full meal with BBQ, cowboy beans, salad, a dinner roll, a drink and dessert. Guests can also choose the chicken or vegetarian option upon request. 


Mojave Brewing Company

Las Vegas is lucky enough to have multiple amazing options to choose from in regards to breweries. Owned by John “Griff” Griffith, Mojave brewing was created with a goal to make beer better and better. John and his wife opened the business and became registered in Nevada. The brewery offers tours and events, along with various flights and types of beers for guests to choose from. Some of the most popular choices include the Skrogzilla Blonde Ale, the Shotgun Wedding Raspberry/Pepper Ale, Freedom of Peach Peach Cider and Exit 23 Pale Ale, to name a few. Due to Covid-19, tours are currently on pause, but guests are encouraged to come in and try some of the variety of drink options to choose from. 


Emerald Island Casino

For those looking to enjoy a piece of the Las Vegas Strip off the Strip, Water Street offers gaming options for those who enjoy the typical Las Vegas casino lifestyle. Emerald Island Casino is considered “the jewel of Henderson.” Located downtown on Water Street, guests can enjoy video gaming and delicious food all in one place. The Emerald Island Grille is a favorite amongst casino-goers. Newly renovated, guests can enjoy a fun atmosphere and a variety of food options. 

Rainbow Club Casino

Also located on Water Street, the Rainbow Club Casino is home to over 300 slot machines, along with an in-house restaurant for guests. The Casino is decorated with a 50-by-19 foot mural, painted by local artist Ozzy Villate in 2009. “In partnership with the Henderson Libraries, the Rainbow Club Casino commissioned this artwork to provide historic background on the city of Henderson. Every inch of the mural is symbolic: from the wavy waters that represent the mural’s home street, to the apple in the reading man’s hand which symbolizes the city’s “All People Promoting Literacy Efforts Partnership,” a program the city started in 2004.” (https://rainbowhenderson.com/about/).
