How our mentorship and revenue sharing programs can make you money.

I’ve talked a lot about how these videos help me recruit agents to my team, but today I want to talk about a program we’ve had for a long time that has drawn new people in and helped me create a foundation of trained, supported, and honest agents.

There are tons of models for revenue sharing; we adapted one of those models and created our mentorship program. Every agent who joins the brokerage goes into a training program with those mentors. If you’re a transferee, then the process is fast-tracked. You’ll spend about six hours of training with your mentor, and it’s all about giving you a support system.

My mentors receive compensation for training agents through the first 11 deals. For new agents, we ask that everyone sells three homes in three months, but most can sell those three homes in the first month with our systems. For those three deals, the mentor gets a 5% split from my cut. By the fifth month, we ask to see seven total sales. The mentors get 7.5% of my share on those deals. Over the next month, we want to see four more sales for a total of 11. The mentor gets a 10% revenue share on those last deals.

Our mentorship program is all about giving you the support to convert leads.

We also have revenue share in general. There are three tiers: 5%, 3%, and 2%. All of this revenue sharing comes out of my cut, and the cool thing is that we might have four or five people getting paid from a single closing. If you bring in a friend or colleague to our brokerage, you get 5% from every deal they do. If your friend brings in somebody, you get 3% from their sales too. If your friend's referral brings in another agent, you get 2% from their deals.

Some agents last year didn’t have to write an RPA and still made $6,000 to $10,000 a month through revenue sharing and mentorship. If you refer someone to a scholarship or talk to a homeowner about the industry and they come in six months later, they will still count as your referral. You can get this continuous income coming in from everywhere.

If you have any questions about our mentorship program, our revenue share, or the industry in general, feel free to call or email me. I look forward to speaking with you.
